Enjoy morning rides in winter but hate the cold? Ever taken off a base layer and been surprised by the moisture it absorbs? The Firefly keeps you warm without being too bulky, smooth lycra on the outside and warm micro fleece where it's needed on the inside. The Firefly base layer is made for high-intensity cold-weather rides where wicking moisture away from your skin is the first goal. The micro fleece layer covers the whole interior creating a very warm and breathable combination.

The overall aim to stop the base layer absorbing moisture, thus lowering the riding weight. Finally, we've added a drop tail so you won't be left out in the cold, and a Silversky logo to the arm so everyone knows where you got this beauty.

In trialing this product we replaced two polypropylene layers with one (more comfortable) Firefly. Also perfect for running, hiking, skiing or other outdoor activities where warmth and comfort are key.

Recommended use: Winter and early spring late autumn. Sub 13 degrees.

Material: Brushed Polyester

  • Warm water wash
  • Wash similar colours together
  • Do not soak
  • Do not use fabrics conditioners
  • Do not brush
  • Do not dry clean
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Do not bleach

Remember tops are mostly slim fit and are designed that way to take moisture away from the body, if you prefer a looser fit go up one size.

Example:

Model pictured (13 years old) is 160cm and 45kg and wears size X-SMALL

A 50kg women at 163cm tall will wear size SMALL.

A 60kg women at 168cm tall will wear size MEDIUM.

    Super warm
    I've been wearing the sample of this for the past few weeks and love it. Mostly running but also on the bike. Perfect for running on those super cold Wellington mornings. It's like wearing 2 polyprops and I don't know why I didn't indulge before! Will be awesome on the slopes too.
